  1. I see a few comments about the terminology here, particles just mean small objects, does not imply single molecules or atoms, one dimensional is just used in a sense that they are in line, not stacked up like 2xn.

  2. Some of those particles look smaller or larger than the others, and I saw one that looked “damaged”. Are you sure these aren’t molecules?

  3. A three-dimensional needle-shaped electrode pulling a chain of three-dimensional particles out of a three-dimensional pool of particles. period.
